The Rhône valley's most southerly winegrowing region is comprised of the Appellations d'Origine Contrôlée Luberon and Ventoux (the Mont du Ventoux, is world-famous as a gruelling stage of each Tour de France).
Traditionally the wines are very smooth with lots of character, full-flavoured fruitiness and intensity. Despite the Mediterranean heat and dryness, the best wines in their class manage to combine tannins and fruitiness with a lightness that can compete with the „great wines" of the Côtes du Rhône.
AphélieThese wines stand for the get-to-know or entry-level segment. These are light, everyday wines with elegant acidity, soft tannins and moderate alcohol content. These characteristics promise a lot of drinking fun and make these wines complication-free food companions, barbecue, or cooking wines (the wine that the cook drinks with cooking but does not tip into the food) and party drinks. The wines characterized by an excellent price-quality ratio.
ElyoThese wines promise uncompromising high quality through a much more stringent wine character, where the typicity of the individual grape varieties is evident in the cuvée. These are wines with substance, structure and power, wines capable of accompanying the characterful foods of the South with strong aromas. Juicy, yet textured and balanced wines for the sophisticated palate.
SolaleThese wines represent the premium-quality. From hand-picked grapes from our best sites, optimised grape ripeness results in wines of the highest expression, terroir and varietal character. These are highly individual wines with radiant precision, power and complexity. The balanced cuvées brilliantly express the lavish richness of the aromas and the Mediterranean landscape on the nose and palate. They are perfect companions to sophisticated dishes, yet also soloists in meditative settings with literature, music and conversation. Wines with ambition to store.
